Peter Clark of Redpoint Audio Design, maker of some seriously nice vinyl rigs, commissioned this monster. It is a five channel 300B parafeed amp that weighs well over a hundred pounds.. Composed in three chassis: one for filaments, one for high voltage, and one for signal. All triodes and Magnequest iron... Real home theatre...
When I dropped it off and visited Peter, we just had to listen in the big analog two channel room. Peter has even come up with some extreme ideas to keep it in the main listening room - active bi-amplification of the speakers and the fifth channel for mono fullrange. Now that sounds like something I would do.
